Students Complete Community Chesed Initiative

Over 40 students from Yeshivat Shaarei Talmud dedicated their Sunday to volunteering across Phoenix, organizing food drives at three local food banks, visiting residents at the Sunrise Senior Living center, and providing free tutoring sessions for younger children in the Arcadia community. The initiative, organized by the student council, is part of the yeshiva's ongoing commitment to chesed and community engagement.

Annual Schoolwide Siyum Celebrated

The entire yeshiva came together in a spirited celebration marking the completion of Masechta Bava Metzia. Students, rebbeim, parents, and community members gathered for an evening of Torah, music, and a festive seudah. A guest speaker shared powerful words about the meaning of siyum and new beginnings.

New STEM & Technology Program Launching

Beginning in Fall 2026, Shaarei Talmud will introduce a cutting-edge STEM track within its general studies curriculum. The program includes courses in computer science fundamentals, robotics, data analytics, and a capstone project where students build real-world applications. A generous technology grant from the Marcus Foundation is funding the new computer lab.

Our math team earned an impressive second-place finish at the Arizona State Mathematics Competition, competing against 48 schools from across the state. The team is coached by our General Studies faculty.

Parent Shabbaton: A Weekend of Connection

Over 30 families joined us for our spring Parent Shabbaton, an annual tradition that brings the Shaarei Talmud community together for a Shabbos of davening, learning, zemiros, and heartfelt connection. The weekend featured a Friday night tisch, Shabbos morning panel with rebbeim, and a moving melave malka.
